PROJECT GOAL: To design and layout a 72-page magazine for a national car club.
The Viper Owners Association is a national car club where Viper enthusiasts attend local events to enjoy their cars and meet new folks that share the same passion. I was asked to design a 72-page magazine (Viper Quarterly) that would highlight Viper news, technical tips, club events, and various members achievements.
The design included the masthead/logo, cover, spread design, and everything in between. The final result was a clean, modular design, with some bold feature article lead-in pages, achieving a classy and distinctive look, greatly exceeding member expectations.
AWARD WINNING
In 2015, after just one year in publication, Viper Quarterly received five awards at the 24th annual International Automotive Media Competition (IAMC), competing against 136 entries.
To the left are some examples from the 7 issues that have been designed and printed, thus far.
